NEW Proper video recording for uploads

Hi everyone! Hope you're doing well.

(First of all, I'm not entirely sure if I should post this here or in the support section, so let me know if I messed up.)

So I recorded a bunch of LJ shows that I would've liked to share on this site. This is high quality content, but problem is that the only softwares I found to record them are screen capture recorders. Meaning it doesn't hide the chat, and every little things that can interfer with the video (credit reloads, etc...)

Almost every videos uploaded here are "clean", which makes me assume that it's been recorded with video capture and not screen capture. But I looked everywhere and I didn't find anything that could do the job properly.

If you have some tips so my videos can be more suitable for uploads on this site, I'm interested.

I'd think Avidemux and cropping the video would work for your existing recordings. It's free, it works and you can tweak other things if you want.
 
there's some infos in software section.. to record streams there's some good ones, as i'm not an LJ fan, i could'nt recommend you any, but the video proc converter I linked has an option to record streams, so no logo or anything, what i'm not sure about is if it records when u're in pvt, i don't think so..

It should work with VLC using a stream link sniffer plugin, or with some paid software like TD..

Unfortunately, people aren't very talkative about that subject, but for sure there's multiples ways to do it, just need to do some researchs.
 
I don't know if it works for LJ but for Chaturbate and stripchat, you can have multiple windows open of your private and on different machines. So I can have a stripchat or CB private on my main PC. Just log in, open and full screen with chat hidden on either another monitor or a laptop. It doesn't help with the logo, you can crop it out later easily, but it keeps chat/token/c2c off the screen recording.
